FAQ
Do I really have to log in every 10 days?

Are you YAMO?
Short answer, no.
Long answer is still no. We pride ourselves on not being another "uniting all micronations in peace etc." organisation of the kind that spring up around the internet almost weekly. Although some aspects may seem similar, we try our hardest, and have succeeded thus far, in avoiding being YAMO (Yet Another Micronational Organisation).
If you believe that we are, and/or that we could improve, we would be interested to hear what and how, as we are always seeking to improve; nobody's perfect.

What's in it for me?
- A free email address (no strings attached) if you would like it (i.e.
@oamicro.org) - Add new terms to the Micronational Dictionary
- A seat on The Council, complete with a vote
- A place where you can express your views, no matter what they are, without fear of retribution
- Receive or give assistance to/from the Micronational Assistance Office (MAO)
- Meet other micronationalists from around the world!

What's 'The Council'?
The Council is the debating and decision-making area of the OAM.
It consists of all member nations of the OAM, with each member nation being entitled to one vote. The main activity of The Council is debating resolutions, much like the United Nations General Assembly. All resolutions are non-binding, unless otherwise stated in the resolution.
The Council can also create committees through resolutions, and these are run through The Council.

Who runs this?
The Secretariat, headed by the Secretary-General oversees the running of the organisation, but almost all legal, executive and legislative power is held by The Council, consisting of all member nations.
