Need convincing?

Well, of course there's no point joining or being a part of anything, let alone an organisation like the OAM, if there are no benefits. Hence we have the following things to offer to you and your micronation:

1. A free email address (no strings attached) if you would like it (i.e. @oamicro.org)
   
2. Add new terms to the Micronational Dictionary
3. A seat on The Council, complete with a vote
4. Contribute to the OAM University and other exciting projects
5. Receive or give assistance to/from the Micronational Assistance Office (MAO)
6. Meet other micronationalists from around the world!

Becoming a member

So your micronation has decided to become a member? Here are a few important things that you should know about becoming a member (shouldn't take too long to read):

• You are expected to log in to the OAM forums or maintain contact with the Secretariat within at least 14 days at a time (although you can obtain discretion if this is not possible) and vote in the Voting Chamber at least once during this period
• All resolutions in The Council are non-binding unless otherwise specified
• We will endeavour to take up as little of you precious time as possible if that is your wish, whilst maintaining our speedy and comprehensive processes
• Everyone's human! Our community expects that all members behave in a professional and diplomatic manner
