Myth-busting

As our launching was not without controversy and still some micronations, micronationalists and micronational entities do not view us in a favourable light, we will 'bust' some popularly circulated myths about this Organisation.

"The OAM was created specifically to oppose the Grand Unified Micronational (GUM)"

This is not true. As may be seen by our 'eight points', we have different aims and principles to the GUM. The GUM also almost entirely operates within the scope of the 'MicroWiki', whereas the OAM includes micronations of many different types, with many coming from outside of the 'MicroWiki Domain'.

"The OAM is merely duplicating the work of other micronational organisations"

This is not true. As also may be seen by our 'eight points', six of these points are unique and are not found, to date, in any other intermicronational organisation. The two that are are essentially 'standard' principles that almost all intermicronational organisations adhere to.
